AI – Boids Simulation

During a course in AI – Computer Models for Cognitive Processes – we implemented a Boids Simulation. This is a concept where multiple rather simple algorithms are combined to resemble the movement of flocking animals, like birds or fish.

In this implementation we also added some ”predators” that try to catch the ”preys”. This gives our boids a bahaviour that looks both effectful and realistic!

The project is implemented in C and uses a grid based system for operations between adjacent boids. Unfortunately, there is no report, but feel free to download the executable application to see the effect for youself.
